Native to to the tropical regions of Asia, Africa nad Australia Henna has been traditionally used as a skin and hair dye for centuries. Henna also has a place in the natural dye studio thanks to its tannin content, which helps bind color to cellulose fibers. When modified with iron, it can also create deep browns and olive hues.
